PIANO CLASSES

Current schedule:

Monday, Wednesday: 5:15 pm, 6:00 pm, 6:45 pm

Tuesday, Thursday: 6:30 pm.

Our teachers use a variety of methods to teach piano, including Wunderkeys for preschool piano classes, Piano Adventures for kids and teens, and Alfred’s Adult courses for adults. Our group piano classes prepare piano students for Royal Conservatory of Music Exams just as our private piano lessons do.

Our piano students participate in annual evaluations, as well as the opportunity to serve the community with recitals.

Our program can also include weekly private piano lessons as well as group piano classes. Students are encouraged to submit practice videos on our private social app. Students may also have the option to take piano lessons online.

WHY PIANO GROUP CLASSES

Group classes encourage students by giving them intrinsic motivation to keep up with their peers. By making music lessons a social setting it reduces the isolation that those who participate in private lessons may feel. All students have their own keyboard, up to nine are allowed in a class.

PRIVATE PIANO LESSONS

Piano lessons are taught as private, one-on-one music instruction and are available in lengths of 30, 45, and 60 minutes. It is suggested kids begin with 30-minute violin lessons if they are beginners. For teens and adults who have some previous experience, we recommend starting with 45- or 60-minute lessons.

PIANO LESSONS FOR KIDS & TEENAGERS

Our teachers are used to teaching young students and adults alike, we pride ourselves in patience and quality. While we strive to make lessons enjoyable we also put a strong emphases on technique, such as posture, bow and left hand technique, and music reading. Along with lessons students are added into our social app so they can grow their community and share their results to keep students interested and engaged!

PIANO LESSONS FOR ADULTS

We love teaching adult students! Adults will learn repertoire from a variety of musical periods as well as proper posture, technique and music theory.

Tiantian Ye

PIANO INSTRUCTOR
Tiantian Ye earned her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Utah School of Music, studying under Dr. Heather Conner. She previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Musicology from the Nanjing Arts Institute in China.
With 15 years of teaching experience across the United States and China, Tiantian has taught piano at various music schools in Utah, California, and North Carolina. More.
Albert Ding

PIANO INSTRUCTOR
Albert began piano lessons at the age of 10 at Cary School of Music with Mr. John Hermann. He later studied with teachers such as Florence Ko and Dr. John Salmon at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in 2019.
Siddharth Sankaranarayanan

Siddharth is pursuing a double major in biochemistry and music in piano at the University of North Carolina under the guidance of Dr. Mimi Solomon. Previously, he took piano lessons with Dr. Barry and has garnered numerous awards, including: Owner of a full Guild diploma , 2nd place in the Elite Music Competition, 2nd place in the Charleston International Competition, 2nd place in the 2022 Young Artist Audition Concerto Competition, and 2nd place in the 2023 Federation Royalty
Siddharth is also an active member of the Cary Apex Piano Teachers Association (CAPTA). His piano students participate in the Royal Conservatory certification program and CAPTA's Sonatina Competition.
